WHO WE ARE
WeCouples is a community of committed couples who believe that relationships thrive when growth, accountability, and connection are shared. We come from different backgrounds, life stages, and relationship histories, but we share a common intention: to build relationships that grow stronger and more rewarding over time.
WeCouples is a community of committed couples who believe that relationships thrive when growth, accountability, and connection are shared. We come from different backgrounds, life stages, and relationship histories, but we share a common intention:
to build relationships that grow stronger and more rewarding over time.
It’s not therapy, and it’s not a weekend workshop.
WeCouples is an ongoing, relationship-centered practice that supports couples in navigating real life—communication breakdowns, transitions, stress, joy, and change—together.
At the heart of WeCouples is the belief that relationships are living systems. When couples are listened to and supported by others who are walking a similar path, meaningful change becomes possible. Growth feels lighter. Challenges feel less isolating. Progress becomes sustainable.
WE don’t offer one-size-fits-all answers. Instead, we provide tools, practices, and a supportive structure that allows each couple to discover what works for them, while learning from the wisdom of others.
Rooted in 35 Years of Practice
WeCouples is powered by Couples Coaching Couples (CCC), a member-led non-profit co-founded in 1991 by a small group of committed couples, including Phyllis Koch-Sheras, PhD, and Peter Sheras, PhD, authors of Lifelong Love.
It began with a simple but radical idea: couples don’t need fixing—they need practice, reflection, and community.
Coaching wasn’t about giving advice; it was about being present together, being accountable, and speaking to what mattered—together. Their book grew directly from this shared practice, lasting love is cultivated, not accidental.
That early vision became a living model. CCC has provided the structure for this work to grow, while the practice itself continues to evolve through the couples who engage in it and carry it forward together.
“A lasting relationship isn’t something you find—it’s something you create, again and again, together.”
— Phyllis Koch-Sheras & Peter Sheras
